College Introduction

Established in 2011, the College of Tourism and Hospitality has long been dedicated to cultivating outstanding professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry. In response to the evolving demands of the post-pandemic tourism and hospitality sector, the college actively integrates advancements in smart technology, healthcare innovations, and leisure experience trends to create a learning environment that seamlessly connects academia with industry practices.

The college places great emphasis on fostering students' global perspectives and aligning with international trends in the tourism and hospitality industry. Since 2016, the college has been accredited by AACSB international, recognizing it as a globally competitive institution in hospitality and tourism education.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the academic depth of the college, four departments—Sports Technology and Leisure Management, Tourism Smart Services and Technology, Hospitality Management, and Culinary Arts and Gastronomy—were officially transferred to the College of Management in the second semester of the 2024 academic year. Currently, the College of Tourism and Hospitality retains the Indigenous Special Program, continuing to develop specialized education and refine professional talent cultivation.

To ensure a seamless integration of theory and practice, the college collaborates closely with E-United Group's diverse leisure business enterprises—including Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel, E-Da Royal Hotel, E-Da Skylark Hotel, E-Da Theme Park, E-DA Outlet Mall, and E-Da World Shopping Mall. These partnerships provide students with comprehensive industry-based learning resources, from internships during their studies to job opportunities upon graduation. As the only tourism and hospitality college in Taiwan closely integrated with a diverse and multi-faceted leisure industry, the college remains committed to nurturing the next generation of tourism and hospitality professionals.
